Easter cookies

My favorite ones are this egg and
This yellow butterfly!!
Hoppy Easter!!

This eggs reminds me of eyes of a caterpillar. I hate caterpillars and I get goosebumps from just seeing it. I really need to consider the colors and the combination of them before I decorate anything. See, don't you just feel watched??

I was going to paint the wings with luster dust, then pipe out some lines on it... but you know, I was running out of time! Or in other words, the cookies wouldn't stay fresh if I put more time into it.
When I looked at the bunny cookie cutter, I had no idea what to do with the cookies besides decorating it all white, which would be boring. So I added some grass and made them look like they are hopping in the field!

These turned out cute!! I still need to work on the weaves, they look sort of wimpy.

I don't know why I wanted to do this again, doing butterfly takes so much time and effort!! Each cookie took about 5 minutes all together. A minute of piping and 3 minutes or more of flooding. I was exhausted after making 5 of these!!!

Miscellaneous

This is the first time I used pearl dust. They came out pretty!

baby shower cookies

I made these for my friend Heidi. I only had one day to finish them so they don't have much embellishment. If I had at least 2-3 days, I could do more with the 2nd layers...

The cookie cutters I have

I'm in the middle of collecting various cookie cutters. I don't have the cutters I would use for a wedding reception, but I think anything will work well because people prefer colors more (especially if it's a wedding) than shapes. I have...

baby rattle
baby onesie
flower
butterfly
bee
pig (2)
car (2)
gnome
Little gingerbread man (2)
elephant (sm)
kitten (sm)
owl
holy leaf
maple leaf
moose (lg)
egg
rabbit (2)
bird
dog (3: lab, poodle, dachshund)
ghost
fish
duck
bear
cat
penguin

If you have a cookie cutters you want me to use, bring them!
